Mentoring Through Movement

We support schools and local authorities by delivering specialist one-to-one mentoring through structured physical activity and positive role modelling.

About Active Mentoring

Active Mentoring was founded by Rhys Llewellyn, whose background spans over a decade in strength and conditioning, combat sports, and youth coaching.

Our mentoring model is built around the proven benefits of structured physical activity in supporting emotional regulation, improving self-esteem, and developing resilience in young people.

Through consistent routines, positive mentoring relationships, and purposeful physical activity, pupils are supported to develop confidence, self-discipline, and healthier ways to manage challenges.

Why Active Mentoring?

Our provision is focused on emotional regulation, designed for pupils who are struggling to engage in mainstream education, offering a personalised approach that combines movement, mentorship, and emotional development.

We recognise that many young people thrive outside traditional classroom environments. Through carefully matched mentors and activity-based sessions, we help pupils build confidence, improve regulation, and re-engage with education in a safe and supportive way.
